En prévision d’une exposition sur les reines d’Égypte au musée Pointe-à-Callière en 2018, j’ai peint deux portraits. Mon but était de proposer au musée des cartes postales originales à vendre en boutique. La proposition fut acceptée et Néfertiti eut un beau succès. Pour ce projet, j’ai voulu allier le style de l’ancienne Égypte au style Mucha.
In prevision of an exhibition on the queens of ancient Egypt, which took place in 2018 at the Pointe-à-Callière Museum, I painted two portraits. My goal was to propose some orignal postcards for the Museum’s gift shop. The idea was accepted and Nefertiti had some success. For this project, I wanted to combine the style of ancient Egypt with the style of Mucha.
